The Challenge: Finding resources created over the last 7 days

In this fourth round, we tackle the task of identifying all resources created over the last 7 days. This is particularly useful for managing a dev-account, as it helps ensure that resource creation by engineers doesn't lead to unexpected cost increases at month's end.

AWS Method:

  1. Well, you can't—unless you've enabled AWS Config across all regions and accounts, which is both costly and time-consuming.

Tailwarden Method:

With the Tailwarden approach, it takes less than 10 seconds to filter resources by creation date. You can also filter on the dev-account and save this as a view! Check out the video here for a real-time demonstration of how swiftly and efficiently Tailwarden handles what can be a tedious process in AWS.

Conclusion

In the DevOps arena, where time is of the essence, Tailwarden not only simplifies the process but slashes the time it takes to perform essential tasks. Once again, Round 4 goes clearly to Tailwarden, showcasing our platform's ability to transform prolonged chores into quick, effortless victories. Stay tuned for more rounds where Tailwarden continues to outpace AWS, providing not just solutions but supercharged shortcuts to common DevOps hurdles.

Ready for Round 5? With Tailwarden, you’re always a step ahead.
